Storyline of Ra-One-

The story of Ra-one revolves around a young boy(Armaan verma) who is the son of Shekhar and Sonia Subramanium (Sharukh khan and Kareena Kapoor.) growing up in London. He is potrayed as a new age computer geek child who is not satisfied with his father's image as well as the heroes that his father develops for video games. Sharukh Khan works for a firm which develops computer games and as one can predict, the company Sharukh works for is not doing quite well. However they have came up with the concept of intertwining the real and the virtual world. Kareena is basically a house wife and is shown researching for profanity/swear words for women.
Shekhar is a person who believes in victory of truth over evil and the strength of one's heart. However Shekhar insists Shahrukh to create a villain who is all mighty and undefeatable. Shahrukh finally gives it a thought and finally comes up with Ra-One a villain who is the most powerful villain ever and is the combination of ten super villains as the movie puts. Also he develops a hero G-One which he has based on himself but has lesser power as compared with Ra-One.
The characters were given HARTs(equivalent to hearts) which were the basis for their power. However the rule for killing a character was quite hard as both of them were unassailable until a gun with a single bullet is fired onto them. Also both the heart and the body must be attacked otherwise they won't die.
All hell breaks loose when Ra-One comes out of the game into the real world when Lucifer (Armaan Verma) leaves the game without finishing and Ra-One challenges him to come back otherwise he will come out in the real world to finish off Armaan. In this process he kills Tom Wu and attains his body/look. The rest of the story is Ra-One's pursuit for Lucifer. Also Armaan brings G-One into the real world to fight against Ra-One. The ending however comes with the moral that no matter how strong evil is, truth always prevails in the end.

velayudham vijay's latest movie review

Vijay is again back with the most taught style that he know. Velayutham is is a mass entertainer for this Diwali and have everything to take the minds of mass audience. Kavalan was a different film in his career and many thought that he stopped masala movies with continuous failure. But the hopes and ideas are wrong as he still exist as a mass star in Velayutham. But this festival season the theme is not the matter and a film like Velayutham which has a masala of everything in right ratio is good choice

Cast and Crew

Starring:Vijay Chandrasekhar, Genelia, Hansika Motwani, Saranya Mohan, Santhanam
Direction: Jayam Raja
Music:Vijay Antony
Production: Aascar Films pvy. ltd.

Brief story

Velayutham is based on the sister-brother relationship of family. The theme is common one and everyone would feel a deja-vu style of repeatable again. But closing all these bad aspects Velayutham has something to enjoy. Vijay is the weapon in the film and the mass appeal of the actor suits the movie. Velayutham talks about Velu, a common milkman who works hard to make some money in life. He have a peaceful life with his family and the village girl Hansika who is in deep love with him. On the other side we have Genelia as a news reporter who gets everything bad in city with the goon rowdyism. Velu invests money in chits fund of the city and loses everything suddenly. The rest of the film talks about how a common man like velu turns into the get up of super hero Velayutham and the films goes to unexpected climax. Movie also have a message for the mass audience.

Vijay is back again in mass style and no one dislikes mass films in correct ratio. Although Velayutham is old wine in new bottle wine is alwas sweeter. Velayutham is also sweeter and compared to other releases in Tamil it is better choice. Film has comedy, action and Romance quotient and suits Diwali mod. The fun 1st half and racy second half makes the film different. Songs are hinder to the flow of film still is good to watch. THe story has nothing logical and mass films are always so. Now let us discuss some merits amd demerits of the film.
