velayudham vijay's latest movie review

Vijay is again back with the most taught style that he know. Velayutham is is a mass entertainer for this Diwali and have everything to take the minds of mass audience. Kavalan was a different film in his career and many thought that he stopped masala movies with continuous failure. But the hopes and ideas are wrong as he still exist as a mass star in Velayutham. But this festival season the theme is not the matter and a film like Velayutham which has a masala of everything in right ratio is good choice

Cast and Crew

Brief story

Velayutham is based on the sister-brother relationship of family. The theme is common one and everyone would feel a deja-vu style of repeatable again. But closing all these bad aspects Velayutham has something to enjoy. Vijay is the weapon in the film and the mass appeal of the actor suits the movie. Velayutham talks about Velu, a common milkman who works hard to make some money in life. He have a peaceful life with his family and the village girl Hansika who is in deep love with him. On the other side we have Genelia as a news reporter who gets everything bad in city with the goon rowdyism. Velu invests money in chits fund of the city and loses everything suddenly. The rest of the film talks about how a common man like velu turns into the get up of super hero Velayutham and the films goes to unexpected climax. Movie also have a message for the mass audience.

Vijay is back again in mass style and no one dislikes mass films in correct ratio. Although Velayutham is old wine in new bottle wine is alwas sweeter. Velayutham is also sweeter and compared to other releases in Tamil it is better choice. Film has comedy, action and Romance quotient and suits Diwali mod. The fun 1st half and racy second half makes the film different. Songs are hinder to the flow of film still is good to watch. THe story has nothing logical and mass films are always so. Now let us discuss some merits amd demerits of the film.
